This is a PLA filament to which glass fiber particles have been added, making the filament more resistant to impact and still easy to print. It is perfect for model aircraft, drones, cosplay and any other application that calls for lightweight 3D printed parts. ePLA-LW has a stable connection between layers and is easy to repair. The surface of the print will be matte and refined.

The foaming ratio and strength can be adjusted as desired by adjusting the printing temperature. Between 210℃ and 270℃, this material will foam when printing. This will increase the volume almost 1.2 times. The extrusion can be reduced by up to 45% to print lightweight parts. Due to the foaming ratio of 220%, 55% less material is used per part than when using regular PLA. This way you achieve a part of the same size but with less weight. The active foaming technology creates practically invisible layers.

This environmentally friendly filament is easy to print with and has a beautiful luminous effect reminiscent of a starry sky. e-Stars PLA can glow in the dark after exposure to light thanks to the glow-in-the-dark property of this filament.

The luminous effect is related to the intensity of the light and how long the print is in contact with the light source. The longer the print is exposed to the light, the better the effect is visible. You can achieve even better results if you expose your print to ultraviolet light instead of direct sunlight.

Note: We recommend using a steel or ruby nozzle with this filament in combination with a hard steel extruder. The luminous grains in this filament can lead to faster wear of the printer.
