Prusa CORE One+

Prusa CORE One+ Conversion kit contains all parts you need to transform your Original Prusa MK4S into the fully enclosed CoreXY 3D printer, the Prusa CORE One+. This kit is compatible with the MK4S only!

The silver PSU is not compatible with the conversion kit.

The Prusa CORE One+ utilizes many proven parts from the Original Prusa MK4S. This is why it is possible to convert your existing 3D printer into the new Prusa CORE One+. You can easily reuse your current print sheets, hotends, nozzles, and many other parts.

It is made from hardened steel with a corrosion-resistant coating, ensuring exceptional durability and longevity. The Prusa Nozzle ObXidian is a high-quality nozzle designed specifically for Nextruder. It is made from hardened steel with a corrosion-resistant coating, ensuring exceptional durability and longevity. These nozzles are particularly suitable for printing with abrasive materials like carbon fiber, as they maintain their hardness even at higher temperatures, delivering excellent performance and extending the lifespan of your nozzle.

The MK52 heatbed has embedded high Curie temperature magnets. These magnets are able to firmly hold removable spring steel sheets.

The Satin sheet further expands our line-up of print sheets. In terms of printing properties, the Satin sheet sits between the smooth and textured variants. Its powder-coated surface with lightly textured matte finish offers an optimal level of adhesion, especially when printing PLA and PETG materials. It is fully compatible with a wide range of common and less-common filaments, such as ABS, ASA, FlexFill 98A, Polycarbonate and more. A vast majority of materials can be printed without a separation layer (e.g. glue).

Polycarbonate - prints better on satin (compared to smooth and textured sheets) - when printing with PC often, glue stick layer is recommended to prevent possible damage to the sheet.

WARNING:

Never clean the Satin powder-coated spring steel sheet with acetone! Doing so will create microfractures in the texture, which will make the surface deteriorate over time.

Note: Consumable parts, such as PEI sheets (smooth, textured, etc.) are not covered by warranty as the coatings are designed to diminish over time unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, cracks or other cosmetic damage is also not covered by the warranty. Only defective sheets on arrival are covered by warranty.

Powder coating directly on metal makes it very hard to damage this build plate. If a heated nozzle crashed into it, the metal can dissipate the heat. Powder coating also gives the surface a distinct textured look that will be visible on your prints. The textured surface hides most of the mechanical damage caused by tools. Only the top of the small bumps can be scratched, which will not imprint on the bottom of the model.

Load up to five filaments of your choice, slice the object in PrusaSlicer or EasyPrint and start the print job! The rest is fully automatic. The MMU3 quickly switches between loaded filaments to deliver a stunning-looking print fast and with minimal waste. The excess material, a by-product of switching the filaments in a single-nozzle printer, is efficiently deposited only into a compact wipe tower on the edge of the print area.
