ASA Filament

ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is an extremely strong thermoplastic, that can be compared to ABS filament. It’s great for outdoor use thanks to its UV resistance. It can also retain its shape and strength for a longer period than ABS, thanks to its higher density.

ASA Properties:

  • Extremely strong
  • Heat-resistant
  • Light & flexible
  • UV/Water-resistant

Tips for Printing with ASA Filament:

  • Work in a well-ventilated area, as toxic fumes may be released when printing.
  • Stick to the optimal heat bed temperature of between 90° C and 110° C.
  • ASA will adhere well to Kapton tape and 3DLAC.
