Description The Kywoo Tycoon IDEX 3D Printer is a cartesian multi-material FDM printer. Thanks to the two print heads, the printer is able to process two different materials as well as two different colours in a print. The printer can operate in four different modes.

With the single print head mode, the printer offers a build volume of 260mm x 300mm x 350mm. When the printer operates with two print heads, the effective build volume is 220mm x 300mm x 350mm. In the third mode, one print head copies the work from the other. The work is therefore printed twice at the same time. The fourth mode is a mirror mode. In this one print head mirrors the work of the other.

The printer is controlled via an HD colour touchscreen with an ergonomic interface. The system can be set in five different languages. To increase the stability of the construction, the complete design consists of a double frame. All axles (XYZ) are also equipped with double drive and guides.

The use of photoelectric boundary switches instead of mechanical switches makes the printer calibration more accurate. To further increase the precision, slider blocks with linear rails have been chosen instead of a V-slot chassis. The slider blocks with linear rails provide a 30% increase in precision.

Dual extruders
