The filtering takes place in 3 stages. First, a washable cotton filter filters the large visible particles. Then, a honeycomb cotton filter filters 99.7% of the 0.3 um particles. Finally, activated carbon filters filter the harmful gases and unpleasant odors. The sealed design ensures that no smoke escapes. A one-sided ventilation system is used at the inlet and outlet. The foam rubber seal ensures that less smoke slips out and the metal hooks seal the pipes well.
