This black LW-PLA filament from colorFabb is perfect for printing RC planes, cosplay items and other lightweight parts. Printed objects are very light but retain good strength. In addition, they are easy to cut, trim and sand. This filament has a diameter of 1.75mm and provides a matte finish. The filament starts to foam at about 230°C, increasing it up to almost 3x in volume. Due to the increase in volume, the weight can be reduced by up to 65% compared to normal PLA.
Print recommendation for colorFabb LW-PLA (lightweight PLA):
Print temperature: 195°C to 260°C
Heated bed temperature: 50°C to 60°C (optional)
Print speed: 40mm/s to 100mm/s
Part cooling: off
